A Dutch friend asked me he wants to install a solar storage system with a 50KW inverter and 100KWH solar battery at his office, but how to use solar battery commercially, he gave me two diagrams about the fee for electricity last two days
The means is he wanna to save money by the solar battery storage system, his question is “Is it possible to save money by operation solar generator system as the background is the Power Price in the Netherlands Based On DSM(Demand side management)? selling power to grid when the price is high, and vice versa.”
No doubt, the answer is yes, actually, this is one of the most important reasons pushing the solar industry up quickly, and the good news is the operation is so easy that everybody can do it
Seems like the time terms of 7:00-11:00 and 16:00-20:00 are the time of higher price usual, so I made an example based on this:
Operation Demonstration

The demand solution like this only 3 steps to get done:
1, Select “time of use” model
2, Back to Grid:
Set in 7:00-11:00 and 16:00-20:00 to discharge the battery to grid, set the value of Batt to 10%
3, Charge battery from Grid
Set in 20:00-7:00 and 11:00-16:00 to charge the power from grid, set the value of Batt to 100%
This is an example, and you can refer to this with your situation, then you can update the ideal status anytime
Super easy right? now you got money from your solar investment while you are nap on the sofa or sleeping deeply or so
