Runtime of Power Inverter by batteries

How long it will be last, if harness my power inverter by batteries only?

The runtime of an inverter powered by batteries determined by the three factors:

  • How many power your battery drawned to your inverter:
This means how many battery power being drawn from the inverter at a given time, and make sure the demands lower than the max input power of your inverter, E.G. the max battery input power of 6KW hybrid Deye inverter “SUN-6K-SG03LP1-EU” is 60V multiple 135A = 8100W
  • The capacity of your battery:
Like the fuel tank in your car, if your battery is 5KWH, 8.1KW battery input power will last more than a half hour ideally
  • Resistance of the solar system:
This is hard to get the percise figure, usual 85-98% efficiency rate

The discussion just like a math question, make things easy, the solar system will support more time if the demands decreased, vice versa, and it is now stable but evenly like a wave, because almost equipment we use is uncontinued like air-condition, refrigerator or so, they will need far higher demands than usual when it work hard

This is a short discusio about Runtime of inverter, contact us if you wanna know more.
